Slowly in the region of Argentina where I live, luckily, life begins to normalize.

As it happened to more than one of us, so much time at home, gave us the possibility to cook the most diverse typical dishes of our countries, which we were sharing through all this time in Connect.
One of the things that I have been enjoying the most lately is to take pics of the fire that I use for cooking I enjoy the most the ritual of preparing and lighting the fire that we are going to use later ā¦
Hi, my friend @SebaasC , Knowing how to light a BBQ and controlling the fire are essential when we are preparing our Asado (or Churrasco as we call here in Brazil). I love the fire as well, but I did not find any photo to share, but I hope that soon I can have a Churrasco with my friends, and Iāll take some pictures. Oh, your post was wrongly caught by our filters (multiple editions are a common reason for that), but I just released it (sorry for the inconvenience).
Thanks my friend @AlexandreCampbell for taking out my post from quarantine.!
Many years ago we rent an amazing house in Tibau do Sul near PIPA, and the house had a wonderful (Lazer place) to make barbecues
!
We tried to cook, chicken, and pork, but we canāt!
If Iām not wrong in the south of Brasil the custom is to cook with the coalās heat (like here) but in the north the costum is to cook with he flame of the coal?
@SebaasC To be honest, Iām not sure about how they prepare Churrasco in the North (Lol), but in Rio, we cook like you. Some cuts, however, are different. For example, we have āPicanha,ā which is typical cut of beef from Brazil. I hope that we can eat an Asado in Rosario someday!
The fact is that I didnāt add the typical Argentinian dishes, to prevent boring the post readers. I have add many times before in comments and posts Argentinian typical dishes!
Thanks for sharing the wonderful images of the fire.
We have winter in the months of December and January out here in New Delhi and hereās a photo I captured using my mobile phone where some special effects got added automatically since it was burning charcoal with a lot of flares and spikes. We cooked sweet potato and coconut on the flames.
We just had the fire lit up to fight the bitter cold and thought of roasting something over the burning charcoal to eat when I found some tender coconut and sweet potatoes lying in the store.
@SebaasC Every year in the month of March out here in India we celebrate a festival called āHolika Dahanā where we have a public fire around which people dance and sing and many of them usually roast some eatable stuff and then distribute freely among those who have gathered. Hereās a picture:
