I always use google maps for getting information of the places i am interesting to visit because it gives accurate information of the places and around 2 years ago i was checking some places when i saw people posting pictures and reviews of places so at that moment i decided to become a local guide for serving alot of people through my reviews, pictures and videos and other informations about the places i have visited. Now i am a level 7 google local guide and looking forward for more badges and levels.
As a local guide i love to contribute and cover alot of things in my reviews and photographs and i don’t have any specific preferences of places that i like to write about so i share almost every place i visit may it be a small provision store, bus stations or a large shopping centres but mostly i cover food outlets and shopping centres as i am a food lover and i visit many food outlets and i give detailed reviews about my experience on that place such as the taste of food, time taken in completing orders, behaviour of staff, prices of food items because i know my reviews and photographs will surely help someone and i love helping others.
When i get views on my reviews and photographs, etc i feel very encouraged and proud which makes me excited for exploring more places and share my experience to other people.
And i also like to share other things like information and details about accessebility of places, ambience of the places i visit using ( pictures, 360 images and videos) and working hours of places i visit and i always add small and less known places like departmental stores, sweet shops, barber shops, etc on map to make them more accessible to a large number of people through my reviews and photographs.
I also share about parking and accessebility of places i visit because as a car owner i always prefer places where parking is present and i share about parking area so that it could help other car owners and i share about accessebility like if a place has lift or not, present on which floor, etc so that it could help people who have some kind of disabilities.
Sharing my experiences and information about places makes me very happy that in some ways i am helping other people.
My motive is to make google maps and places more accessible to everyone so that they can easily plan their visits.
Now i am a part of connect community so i am looking forward to listen stories from other people too.
