Google Maps is a powerful app and love sharing following things all the time:
- Information that is not available online or not the latest one. For example the toy train from Neral to Matheran is very famous but ever since it was restarted at no place correct timings of train are mentioned which impacts the entire trip as train has limited seats whose tickets are immediately booked at the station and ticket window opens only 45 mins prior to journey.
- Missing places which are hard to find online. Again example related to Matheran. It is pollution free zone so there aren’t any vehicles so for anything you need either walk or take horse ride. At such place often people go for some celebration like birthday or anniversary or anything else and need to buy cake from there itself. But on maps no cake shop or bakery is listed. So when I found one and impressed with the quality of cake and service I added it on Google Maps. Surprisingly within few days the bakery owners started getting more orders over call as I shared image of his card and contact details on Google Maps. So from such small effort of listing it resulted in benefits for both cake shop owner and Customers.
- Always like to share useful information and positive detailed reviews along with photos bcoz when I check reviews for places I want to visit I look for these things… So when I share such things it might help others as well.
