The voice for "The Voiceless".

Local Guides Program: Is the voice for “The Voiceless” by making the world a better place and together as one.

Local Guide Program has been a home for me to learn, share and connect with people within and outside my niche and reach. This program has help to discover, build and showcase my philanthropist heart by contributing immensely to the Google map and it’s community. I derive delight from helping people by proferring solutions to there problems naturally, be it tech based problems or otherwise, which this program has propelled by making the world a better place and enabling both Old and Younger generation to reach the world at large on a spot. Joining this program/community is a huge leverage for me, by creating the possibilities of meeting Local Guides around me, attending meetups, knowing the next local guides walk etc. This program has really help me to know more about the features on Google map and it’s usage, getting first hand information about traffic in my area, tells how long the traffic has been there and how long it would last, also it’s suggest alternative route which has help my day to day activities, knowledge of weather forecast has been on a huge advantage and has enable me to plan ahead for the day. The Google map has also help me to see and to know how a place which I had never visited before look like and gives estimated time to get there and how to get there.

“The Voiceless” these are set of SMBs majorly whose businesses has no or low visibility and it strives, to gain more reach. This program has provided leverage, platform and opportunities by becoming a landmark with easy navigation to communities and reaching wider audience within and beyond regions. However this program has really make me feel important, relevant and active, knowning fully well that my voice is been heard locally and globally whenever i contribute accurately to the Google map for global consumption by writing about a place/businesses, add or edit a missing place/businesses, answer questions about a place/businesses and take photos of a place/businesses, the program gives me an opportunity to educate and engage it’s users at my time and pace which has made me more important and relevant to my community and the world at large.

Lastly, for me mapping is an escape from boredom ie: write review, suggest edit and answering questions has become fun for me. Any location I find myself, mapping is the next game and it has become my hobby. It has really enhance my traveling experience and photographic skills. I see every reason to be glue to my smartphone knowing fully well that after contributing in other to help someone somewhere looking for accurate and first hand informations using the Google map, there are points to earn and badges to unlock. Big thanks for this opportunity to be on Local Guide Program working deligently in other to achieving the aims and objectives of this program.

I pledge to faithfully contribute my quota towards the realization of the goals and objectives of this global vision.

After an insightful tour into the Osun Osogbo scared groove, I decided to feed the monkeys as part of the fun.

Hello @OyeMoses You might have wondered what happened to the first post you wrote, as that all of a sudden disappeared, right? Well, actually, it was accidentally caught in our spam filter (which is quite strict out here). I have now released it and merged it with your other post, to avoid that your Connect account would get flagged as spammer.

The result is that the content of your first post is now added as a comment to your second post. If you want, you can remove the content of that comment by clicking the ‘…’ at the bottom of the comment and then simply removing the content there (or replace it with something like “content removed as it was an accidental duplicate”).
