Yes @DeniGu , we don’t call as sause here, we call it as "Kadhi”. Kadhi means Curry. The yellow one you can see in picture is curry. We also take the row papaya cut into nice strips, put some sugar,salt and just little vinegar on it and eat with this dish. Some people take this dish with tea also. That you can see in this picture.

I’m curious to try it one day, I’ve never had papaya strips with curry.

@DeniGu … whenever you visit India especially Gujarat or in some other countries you can find the Gujarati community, there you can try this out. I am from Bhavnagar city located in Gujarat state which is also famous in the world for this dish “Ganthiya”.
