Bento was very popular in Hawaii and sold out early in the evening.

A very famous Hokkaido squid lunch. I flew to Hokkaido because I wanted to eat this squid lunch.

All the bento boxes I bought at the national bento tournament are wonderfully delicious.
It’s worth the deliciousness that I bought for 2 hours.
With this deliciousness, I can wait 3 hours.LOL

Lunch boxes also represent the season.
This lunch is a spring lunch. When I look at the package with the picture of cherry blossoms, my heart gets excited.
It makes you feel like you are at a cherry blossom viewing while at home.

Kiyoken bento is a wonderful lunch that makes you feel the season.

I want to mention one interesting thing at first, when I saw the topic regarding “Bento” by @HiroyukiTakisawa I searched in the dictionary for the meaning of this word. When I came to know about the meaning of Bento a laughed a little, because I already know the meaning of it but I know it as OBento . 東京駅 新幹線改札近くにある弁当屋ではいつも大勢の方々が弁当を求めて混み合っています。

私は国内外問わず旅行に行った先で弁当を買いますが、この渡航先での弁当買いはとても有意義な食の経験だと思います。

小さな弁当の中にその地域の特産品や名物が並ぶ弁当や地域の発展のストーリーまで詰め込んである弁当などに出会えると興奮してしまいます。

崎陽軒の弁当には昔から変わらない美味しさへのコダワリがあり、コンビニ弁当とはレベルの違うパフォーマンスがあると思います。

消費期限たったの数時間という崎陽軒の弁当は美味しさへのコダワリだと思います。

崎陽軒が毎季節ごとに限定販売する弁当は全て購入して食べていますが、どれも流石と思わせる出来です。

小さな折にストーリーを感じる美味しさが詰まった逸品だと思います。

日本の駅弁文化は大変興味深い発展をしていて、地域性に富んだ文化の開花があると思います。

街道沿いにも華やかな弁当文化が開花していて、調理法など工夫を凝らした弁当がたくさんあります。

この弁当は明治36年から売り出されている小田原駅の名物・小鯵押寿司と、脂ののった金目鯛の炙り寿司を一箱に詰めこんだ贅沢な逸品です。

脂の乗った小鯵、更に脂の乗った金目を贅沢に使った東華軒の素晴らしい弁当です。

千枚漬と広島菜で包んだ口直しの梅ちり寿司ごはんを詰める食味のストーリーまで考えられた素晴らしい弁当です。

その昔の東海道の旅はもしかすると、今よりもコダワリのある美味しい弁当を食べていたのかもしれません^^

駅弁と空弁についての投稿を有難うございます。その中で、日本と台湾の弁当文化には興味深い関連性があります。

台湾の弁当文化は日本統治時代の鉱業や林業で日本人によりもたらされました。

台湾人は彼らのブリキの弁当から着想を得て、照り焼きのフライドチキン（鶏排）を載せる「鶏肉弁当」として画一的に発展させました。そのため弁当の種類が非常に少ないのです。

九份に隣接する金瓜石黄金博物館で、当時の日本人が使用したブリキの弁当箱を再現したお土産がセットになった台湾弁当を楽しめます。数ある台湾土産の中でオススメしたい一品です。

阿里山鉄道で登る山奥の町、奮起湖が台湾弁当の名所です。

奮起湖大飯店というホテルのロビーで、とても美味しい台湾弁当が食べられます。

台湾鉄道で車内販売される紙箱の６０元（約２１０円）が、スタンダードな台湾弁当といえます。台湾名物のひとつです。
一般的に台湾鉄道の弁当は少ない量で満腹感を得るために非常に濃い味に仕上げられていますが、奮起湖大飯店の弁当はレストランのような絶妙な味付けです。

Teh @Nyainurjanah Bento itu bahasa Jepang yang merujuk ke kotak (baik itu bekal dari rumah, kotak makan dari restoran, atau bahkan seperti kotak plastik atau sterofoam pas kita beli makanan di supermarket) dengan isian nasi dan berbagai lauk pauk. Yang pasti kalau bento itu disajikannya di kotak, bukan di bungkusan kayak nasi Padang hehehe…

Tau restoran Hokben ga, Teh? Itu terkenal di Indonesia menyajikan bento, dan walaupun dari nama dan menunya Jepang banget, tapi restoran ini asli Indonesia loh

Hi @955HIRO -san, what a great post! It is true that bento brings a lot of memory because we could eat it in every occasion, including while we are in a train, too. You make me miss traveling with high speed train. I used to buy bento in a convenient store before heading to the high speed train in Taiwan and China. Love it
