Dear community friends and without fail adding my loving sister @MoniDi ,
Please don’t get surprised to find me again on Sunday. Strange presence on every Sunday does suggest that I going to show you some different focus on this conversation and the topics are Henna and Lahati( Bangles).
Heena ,a kind of plants leaf that is used in making tattoos/ art design on female forehand and legs .It also uses in hair-dying .
For the Lahati or Bangles, @MoniDi has asked about, if possible, show me a woman wearing lahati/Bangles two days back .
Today’s my uploading is specially designed to meet her eyes ,and the same time my friends of this forum will view it.
Thanks for sharing this @ShekharMuz_5 ! I think I need to search online to watch a few videos and read up about henna! I’ve seen the ‘finished product’ but curious about the whole process (similar to what @Ant_Bad_Yogi showed). What is the cultural history behind the henna?
Thank you for tagging me and sharing these beautiful photos of Henna tattoos. It’s interesting that I have never had one before. I was about to do one during my visit in the Dubai desert but there were too much people waiting in the line so I decided to skip it. However, wherever I go to the Bulgarian seaside resorts, there is always someone who does henna tattoos so I still have got the chance.
Well ,@MoniDi ,you wll have chances to use Heena in your future trip to east European countries if skipped it in the Middle East.
Heena is a natural colour agent, and due to this , the people of this trans -region have been using it since centuries, this tradition continued even today.
The Heena is a sort of Bush, a small plant ,can be grown easily, other than cold conditions areas.
The dry leaf powder of Heena is used in making tattoos with a bit of oil .
Thanks for sharing this information. Please be advised that I will merge your post with your previous one as it still shares the same topic. There is no need to create a new post in order to reply other Local Guides.
Thank you very much for mentioning the Henna and Lahati! I’ve always liked the Henna paintings a lot and I took the chance to have one on a cultural festival when I was in Shanghai. Here it is:
Do they make it for a special occasion in India? I know that in Turkey for example the girls have a Henna painting before a wedding and it’s a really important part of the bride’s preparation.
Surprised to find your tough decision about a post which you have transferred to archive 2 hours ago .I couldn’t believe that my post was irrelevant and my loving sister might act against my noble thought, and dream .

To conciliate myself, I only beg with humble submission, kindly rethink about your decision and put my posting back .
