When considering food, will you consider Parfait as food?
I love Parfait! I could have it everyday! So, for me, it’s definitely a 'Yes"! Recently, I found a very nice place to have Parfait; The Place Restaurant.
This Parfait from The Place Restaurant is made up of;
- Yoghurt
- Granola
- Strawberry
- Cashew Nut
- Red Grapes
- Roasted Coconut flakes
Do you make your Parfait at home or get it in a shop? Can you share a detailed recipe of how you make your Parfait at home? May the best recipe win!
Never mind everything I have written so far, I am not challenging you to anything! I just feel like showing off this beautiful Photo!
Is there a way to discuss Photography without paying special attention to ‘Food Photography’ especially for us as Local Guides when we have to share our photos and reviews from the many restaurants we eat?
Now, let’s talk about this photo;
- This Photo shows the feel of this food, you can tell this food is cold just by looking at the picture. You can also tell it is very fresh
- The lighting is good
- The angle from where it is shot is great! From this angle, you can easily list everything in the cup and know what to expect
- How about the background? I chose black because black projects every color that falls on it. Just look at how everything else disappears in the photo and your focus is drawn only to the top of the cup; an important point you may miss (that the Parfait is actually in a cup). Now, I see you scrolling back up to take a second look at the photo I got you! This is all thanks to the marriage of the black background and the angle from which the food is shot
The moment I uploaded it to maps, it got a feature! The Google Map robot sure has great taste !
Now, it is your duty to decide if you want this post to be a ‘Food and Drink’ Post or a ‘photography’ post. The ball is in your court. Now, the real challenge begins.
All the best! Ciao!
