One of my favorite passions while travelling the world is discovering new food (hidden local gems)! I really enjoy learning about new cultures, foods, and the basic variety of everyday life when travelling. One of my favorite stops while travelling the last 2 summers was visiting Prague, Czechia. I loved roaming the cities and finding the best places to eat and visit. My favorite dessert (ever!!) was discovering a traditional Czech dessert called a trdelnik. I probably ate 2 trdelniks per day for the duration of my stay in Prague. I enjoyed the variety of the desserts, hazelnut spread, ice cream, fresh cream, plain…the options seemed endless. I still am on the hunt for a trdelnik in Alberta, Canada and hope to find something similar soon!
