Hi @BreathOfTheWorld_8 ,
Thanks for sharing this lovely photo! What camera do you use? Do you live in Porto yourself? I’ve only been to Lisbon a long time ago, so I definitely need to travel more around Portugal. What places would you recommend to see in Porto?
Thanks!
The day i took that picture, i was heading to the river from the historical center and Praca de Gomez Teixeira on foot. After a while i saw in a distance a park, with different levels ,which was called Fonte das Virtudes and behind of it ,not so far, the Crystal Palace.I began from the top level of the park headed down ,enjoying the beautiful view of the river and the town.
As i reached the end of it ,i found my self in some beautiful alleys of an old town and finally to the main street parallel to the river.
From there you can see the dom Luis bridge connecting the other side which is called Gaia. It also got my attention a vintage shop called Armazem ,which was serving as a bar too. As you go, there are many restaurants above the river to relax. You can have a **boat tour ,**or glide with a cable car above the town, to the Monastery of Serra do Pilar.
The distances are quite small for the amount of nice things you can see and experience there.I definitely recommend the visit!
