The Traditional Indian Diwali Snack.

Hello Friends,
First of all, Wishing you all A Happy Diwali.
Today I’m posting some photos of our traditional Maharashtriyan Diwali Faral {Diwali Snacks} All the snacks shown in the photos are Homemade; Made by my mom.

The First dish we have is Chivda,
This is basically made from a Flattened Rice. It contains very less amount of oil so it’s Healthy.

Second dish we have is called as
Besan Laddo. It is an Indian Traditional sweet. It contains Gram Flour, Powder Suger and some amount of butter.
The Gram Flour that we use is also Homemade.

Third dish we have is Chakli.
Chakli is a savoury snack of India. It is a Round Spiral shaped snack with a spiked surface.
It is deep fried and it’s so crispy and crunchy.

The Fourth dish we have is
Karanji. It has different names but in My Culture we called it as Karanji. It made from all purpose Flour and it has a sweet coconut and suger stuff inside.

The fifth dish we have is Kaju Katli. It is white in colour originally but we add some food colour so it seems to be red.
Kaju katli is very famous sweet across India. It includes Cashu Powder and some amount of Suger Syrup. It is my personal favourite sweet.

The sixth dish we have is Pedha.
It’s also a Indian sweet. It contains Condensed Milk and some dry fruits.

The last dish we have is Naral Wadi, it is the traditional sweet of Maharashtra India. In this we use coconut, suger,Cardamom,Nutmeg powder.

We have tradition that we share all of this snacks to our friends and family and sprade the joy of diwali.

Once again Happy Diwali to All.
