The Traditional Baulia Fair 2025 Begins in Demra!
One of the largest rural fairs in Dhaka, the Baulia Fair attracts visitors from all over the country.
This fair is famous for its delicious treats, including the renowned Balish Mishti, Rasgolla, Pidi, Nimki, Chop, and many other traditional snacks. Additionally, the locally made clay dolls are well-known across the country.
Visitors can relive the nostalgia of 90s rural fairs, with classic toys and food items bringing back childhood memories.
How to Get There:
From anywhere in the country, first reach Demra Staff Quarter in Dhaka. From there, you can take a reserved auto-rickshaw for 50 BDT or a shared ride for 20 BDT to the fair.
If coming via Rampura, get off at Atik Market or Rajakhal Bus Stand. From there, it’s either a 10 BDT auto ride or just a 10-minute walk to the fairgrounds.
