The Tasty Bihari Sweets Cuisine !!

Dear connect community friends,

Today I again presenting the Bihari sweet cuisine, which are really very tasty and popular in this region. These are Pedakia, Khajuri and Long Latti . All are sweet cuisine, calories wise 250 each .

Coming to ingredients they are almost the same as I have described in my Pedakia Sweet cuisine post .Only minus is Khoa - a kind of dried milk. Yes ,Long Latti, who has been shown in middle of plate ,is dipped into sugar prepared liquid.

This time I have reduced the calories, by adding a bit less sugar so that more people will like it ,irrespective of age barrier. Thanks .

Hello @ShekharMuz_5 ,

Thank you for introducing the Bihari sweets to us! They look so delicious, especially the Long Latti. Do they have some filling inside?

Are all the sweets fried? It’s hard to believe that they are only 250 calories since fried desserts are usually quite heavy. Have you also tried making them with honey or another sweetener instead of sugar?

Hello @RadieN ,

Thanks for your interest in my Tasty Sweet Recipe of Bihar. See these sweet dessert is are very popular in this region.

Coming to calories wise, no doubt, fried ingredients with sugar are at the highest level. But put the things in proper context, the level of calories can be reduced.

Sweets are sweets ,it may contains high level of calories. So , how this can be reduced, by adding artificial sweeteners are good examples.

Probably, you may have mistaken to add that each piece of my shown local sweet contains 250 calories only ,not the shown full plate. It is a permissible limit to even a diabetic person to have a piece of this sweet.
