The story of a user's passion, even amid the illness

All of us have our personal life, thinking, work, hobbies, and intentions that others may not know and even may have no attention to it, but only one thing, only one goal gathers us together: being helpful through the Google Maps.

No matter when you started contributing, no matter where you started contributing, no matter you have some mistakes in this way, what is important is your helpfulness on the map.

By keeping this in mind, I want to introduce one of our friends that we know him from the Map Maker Google Groups: Reza @Sweden who is contributing to the Google Maps from several years ago, from the first year of Map Maker which was several years before starting the Local Guides program.

He is familiar with some areas in Iran and Sweden and because of this, he drew many roads in both countries to help people for getting to their destinations better and faster. This becomes more important when you know that in the past few years, he did contributions while he has an illness, Cancer.

Another important thing that he always has mentioned in the Google Groups is his emphasis on the importance of a complete online accessible map to help people in a crisis like EMS or fire fighting. This is so important for me to think from this point of view and for every single contribution feel that someday, somewhere this will help someone, and this has a really big effect to do the most accurate contributions for having a good, clean, and reliable map.

I should say thanks to him for having attention to these gold effects of the online maps and especially our loved one Google Maps.

These days he is fighting so hard again with his cancer in Sweden.
I want to ask you all to pray for Reza to be healthy.
He was able to beat cancer one time and now we hope he can do again and pass this step successfully.

Live long Reza
From Me, @Amiran , Mohsen and others who want to see you happy

Thanks a lot @SamanS for the post.

I also saw lots of his efforts on the map and especially in the forums. His thought that our contributions are helpful for people’s commuting and especially for emergency services is really a key in every good contribution on the map.

I never forget his previous fighting with cancer. That was a terrible time and full of concerns to me. But fortunately, he passed that period successfully. I’m sure that he will do the same this time. He will heal from his illness and will continue contributing to the map.

You’re very strong dear @Sweden :muscle:

What a beautiful post @SamanS and an ode to Reza @Sweden. Even if I never met or heard about him until now he leaves a big impression. Cancer is a horrible disease and I hope he will recover from it soon.
I think you did a great job writing this post to honour him.
