The steps which I follow now before reporting any discrepancy in "Your contributions."

Sometime back, I posted a query on how to resolves the errors in the statistics of Your Contributions.
I received several tips from fellow LGs on troubleshooting & the summary is below.

On the phone:

  1. Check Public profile.
  2. Use an Incognito mode.
  3. Clear cache + app data and repeat.
  4. Logout & re-login.
  5. Check for updates for the app and OS
  6. Uninstall and reinstall the app.
  7. Restart and repeat.
  8. If the device manufacturer permits, rollback the app to a factory fitted version.
  9. If possible, repeat these steps on another device, the one not having Android or clones.

On a Desktop;

  1. Use an incognito mode.
  2. Follow that by guest mode.
  3. Consider other browsers.
  4. Clear cookies and browsing history.
  5. Check for updates for the the browsers.
  6. Restart and repeat.
  7. If possible, repeat these steps on a non-windows OS.

Though painful, that confirms the error is not on the client’s side.
