The Spiritual Foodie

The entire country of India is very minutely divided into various religions, castes, communities and beliefs. But the one thing that unites then all is FOOD !

In the city of Mumbai there is this one restaurant which redefines food for all those who think vegetarian or Jain food is not as tasteful or lip smacking as any other cuisine.

Its Govinda’s, near the Babulnath Temple, sharing the same premises as the Hare Rama Hare Krishna Temple.

The entire food is Satvik. Which means that its without Onion, Garlic, No Animal Meat of any kind either.

After a meal, the only regret you are going to have is that you couldn’t eat more. The menu is spread on right from a twist of desi Chinese, to the flavours of India, and extending into the international dishes like Pizza’a, Pasta’s and Fondue.

A must try: The entire menu :stuck_out_tongue: as and when possible !

Find out when there is Ekadashi and make sure that is the day you go. They have a special menu for that specific day. It comes 2 times a month. A must try on that day is the Gehevaran Dosa.
