The clouds form a part of the sky that adds depth and texture to it… right? ‘Nature’ creates clouds with different colours, shapes and sizes and adds beauty to the sky. The clouds keep moving across the sky, changing shape and colour and mesmerizing our minds. Watching the clouds can be a relaxing and gifts meditative experience - many times, I have easily lost myself in these movements - In Yercaud, the fast-running clouds create magical moments.

Here too, I shoot both in Auto & Manual Modes:

  • I try with all the different lenses - Walk-around, Wide & Zoom Lenses - my preference is wide-angle lenses, especially on a full-frame camera.
  • In Auto mode, usually, I try to focus on the horizon & move the camera from a lower point towards the sun - I shoot once my composition is good for me - or even I tilt a bit down or up, once more… (Read More…)

Though there much more… The most simplest explanation will beb

  1. The ND Filters are used to DARKEN the image (in simple words) by steps.

  2. Whereas the “Polarised Filter” is used to reduce glares & unwanted reflections. (filtering the different wavelengths).

Hope this basic explanation will help you.

May be later we can have a detailed discussion on this topic.
