What I love sharing most on Google Earth is TRAVEL.
As the saying goes East, West, Home is best. My home, The Shack, is a very popular guesthouse situated on the South East Coast of South Africa - a short distance south of Durban in Park Rynie/Scottburgh which is a small, quaint but vibey town where the weather is very tropical - ensuring a moderate temperature all year round. Tourists, local and international, enjoy our beautiful unspoilt beaches with long hours of fun in the sun. This is only one of our many activities.
The Shack is on the beachfront and yet a stone’s throw away from all the hustle and bustle of city life. Here we get back to nature. I wake up daily thinking of the song “Just another day in Paradise” - what with our awesome sunrises /sunsets, full moons throwing shadows over the ocean, hearing the waves breaking on the shore day and night,
If that’s not enough, annually in June /July, we enjoy an astounding marine phenomenon- our annual SARDINE RUN.
The whales arrive to breed and calve on our coastline from June through to November. The dolphins frolic in pods - surfing in the breakers all year round. Look out for that turtle feeding in the rocks while our locals catch their much loved shad off the rocks. Others might prefer a deep sea fishing experience - hoping for a game fish to boast about that evening over an open fire.
