The search for the ideal machine, because the world is too big to discover the ones alone.

My wife at bedtime once turned to me and said, "We could develop an app so people could share their travels, their tips, their findings, and their stories. That was in my head, I thought the idea was brilliant.

Over the next days and weeks I started searching Google if there was something similar that had already been developed, that’s how I found Google Local Guides. I showed it to my wife and started using it slowly.

I am a discreet person, my Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn among other multimedia applications are very conservative, I also have an account at Vivino. In all these channels I keep myself hidden and discreet, I avoid publishing many photos and describing things about myself and my family. But in the case of Google Local Guides, Google has taken a lot of care that makes me not expose myself to unfamiliar people. This made me increasingly confident and allowed me to create beautiful posts that help many people on their travels, because the world is too big to discover alone. In our trips we always try to know 3 or more wineries, because we are passionate about the world of wine, its charm and refinement. We have already had the opportunity to visit Champagne region in France, Mendoza in Argentina and Colchagua in Chile, as well as many others in our country like Rio Grande do Sul, where we have one of the best sparkling wines in the world (Cave Geisse). The legacy of joining the trip with the visit of the winery, is the history we learn associated with the place, the pleasure of a good meal together with the tasting of the best wines of each region. They are sensory experiences, which go beyond vision, hearing and smell, we have the taste and touch all together.

My 12 year old son has been accompanying us since he was 8 years old, of course he can not taste the wines, but he participates in everything and except the palate the other senses are sharp. I think it is a fantastic opportunity for a person my age, but for him it represents the building of a story from the beginning of his life.
