My Experience as a Guest at the 10th Connect Day & Pre-Connect Live Singapore 2026 Meetup

I recently had the pleasure of attending the 10th Connect Day & Pre-Connect Live Singapore 2026 Meetup (BDLG Meetup #291) as a guest, and it was a truly memorable experience. Instead of writing another recap, I’d like to share what this meetup meant to me personally.

As one of the Bangladeshi Local Guides invited to Connect Live Singapore 2026, it was an honor to meet fellow Local Guides before our journey. Seeing both experienced contributors and enthusiastic newcomers in one place reminded me how strong and supportive our community has become.

One of my favorite moments was connecting with old friends, making new ones, and exchanging ideas about how we can improve Google Maps together. The discussions were insightful, and I was happy to listen to the valuable suggestions shared by participants that we hope to carry to Connect Live.

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Local Guides Connect made the event even more special. It wasn’t just about cutting a cake—it was about celebrating a decade of friendship, learning, volunteering, and making a positive impact through Google Maps.

A heartfelt thank you to @Papel_Mahammud for hosting such a wonderful meetup and to everyone who attended. Your passion and dedication continue to inspire me.

Congratulations once again to all the Connect Live Singapore 2026 invitees. I hope we can proudly represent the voices of Bangladeshi Local Guides on the global stage.
