The River Liffey, at Castletown House, Kildare - Few pictures after a week of heavy rain.

So I was at Castletown House, Kildare on Saturday. Few pictures of the River Liffey after a week of heavy rain & spot flooding.

The Swans staying clear of the river in a nearby Duckpond.

Hi @Jim_Allen ,

Beautiful photos. Where is this place you went to? Is it a park of some sort or did you go somewhere overnight? I love the autumn colors in your photos, what camera did you use?

Thanks for sharing.

Hi @DanniS

Thanks for the compliment. I used my Sony dsc-hx400v. Castletown House is a country-style mansion in Celbridge, Kildare that was built in 1722 and has parklands that are free & open to public access. It’s owned and maintained by a government agency. I just drove over for a walk on Saturday morning as it’s only 20 mins from where I live. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castletown_House
