I am Roman Starchenko, I live in the capital of Ukraine, Kiev. I am a local expert of the eighth level. Most of all I love to travel with my family, take pictures and share my impressions. I have three reasons why I am with you:
1) Pleasure.
I am very pleased when other people like my photos which are impressing and gain millions of views in Google maps. At the moment, I have almost 20 million views.
2) Gratitude.
When I plan my travels and during my adventures I always use Google maps to create the route and find interesting places I want to visit, and this is where I get help from reviews of other local experts on Google maps. I am very grateful to them all, and I also want to help other people on their travels, so I gladly share my impressions, emotions and discoveries, add new objects, correct mistakes and answer questions.
3) Game.
In addition, I like the structure of the Local Guides program with its bonuses and insignia. In the form of a game, I score points, earn new badges and at the same time help users from all over the world. I find it interesting to compete with other program participants**.**
I would very much like to meet and talk with the same enthusiastic people, share experiences, learn something new. I hope I can do this in November in San Jose at the Connect Live meeting.
