Hi,
In November 2021 I made an Edit from my Google Account to Google Maps to correct the name and address of the building in my attachments… On December 26, 2021 I received a letter much like the one in the attachment below saying 500 people had viewed my Edit and to thank for foe making such a valuable contribution to Google Maps.
Sometime within the span of 12 days it was all changed back with no explanation given.
Look l=closely to the sign in front of the building in my attachments or visit the Maps site.for my photo submission. It is clearly visible and not what Google has listed for the name or address. I have tried repeatedly to get it changed to reflect the right data and they have refused to do so every time. It has prompted me to quit the PE Program and am ready to abandon Google altogether over this
Within the last couple days I received a letter much like the first one I received saying there were over 1000 views of the name change I submitted 4/6/23 showing the correct name in the letter, but not on Google Maps…
There are only a few reasons I can think of this would happen, Is someone besides me being Shadowbanned, namely their Supervisors, to keep them unaware of what is going ion at this level?
Because I know why the change was made within those 12 days. It was outside influence of a nature not in Googles best interest to associate themselves with, but one they have been by these actions
I am going to stop here in the hopes this will catch the attention of someone in a Supervisory Position or they can be made aware . I have tried feedback, I mean their Supervisors
