I don’t know if I am a die hard fan of Google but I bebelieve I use most of their apps. I’ve been a heavy user of Google Maps since 2005, and now of Lyft which rely on Google Maps.
It’s not just the pictures from other people but the reliability of Google Maps that you can see where you are going, and what’s around the place? I don’t drive. Therefore, I need to know, before I go anywhere, if there’s a restaurant, or public restroom, and where is the bus stop? So many time I observed tourist nagging the bus drivers for directions when they could have just looked at Google Maps.
