First, I like to use photos when creating my journal, good or bad. I enjoy it especially nice photos as I can record and share my life when using photos in my reviews can truly present the experience, so anyone who sees it can much relate to it.
Moreover, in Taiwan, there are some small diners in the alley, which are not easy for people to find. There was one time when I am about to take my daughter to a tracking competition, before that I took her to a small restaurant which locates in Tao yuan.
The food was great, even though it was simple, not for a while, the owner started to talk to us and even tried to encourage my kid as she was kind of nervous and stressed about her performance in the race. We were kind of surprised and moved by this conversation, apart from the beautiful meal he brought, we were given way more than a simple lunch. So I left reviews on Google for the diner, I believe more people should visit not only because of the cooking but also because of the beautiful people you would meet there.
What does the Local Guides program mean to you?
I reckon it’s pretty simple.
-
People who are really devoted and loved the city should be respected and encouraged. Not only restaurants or local shops, I even wrote about a police station in Taipei, just because the police there were truly provided extraordinary and productive service to the people.
-
For those services that aren’t really great, I also believe it’s worth noticing. I just don’t want to see more people would fall for a bad experience. Moreover, I hope the reviews could be a reminder to those shops.
Overall, the reason why I enjoy the Local Guide program is it is a platform where people can exchange real experience. And for those restaurants or shops, they also need this so they can essentially connect to their customers.
