The Ramon Crater is the largest crater in the world, created not by meteor,
It is 40 km long,
It is 2 to 9 km wide
And a depth of 350 meters
The archeological buildings are the national shield of Avdat, which is the central city of the Nabateans (most famous for the city of Petra)
Located on the Incense Route. The Nabateans were Arab tribes that were able to transfer goods from Yemen and Somalia to the port of Gaza and from there to the Roman Empire, and to survive 65 days in the desert.
The site was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO
