Houses in the Bayou Lacombe southern of Los Angeles are raised to about 15feet to prevent flood waters from entering. It’s a spectacular sight of all the raised houses. However there are alligators in the Bayous so it’s not advisorble to swim. During winter the alligator hibernate by burying themselves in the mud the whole Winter, waking up and coming out in the soring which is fun to watch.
