Hey everyone! Wanted to share a story that reminded me why our contributions as Local Guides truly matter.
A while back, I added a small local shop’s exact location on Google Maps. Right after adding it, I informed the owner and guided him through the process. I helped him claim his business profile on Google Maps so he could have full control over his shop’s online presence.
Before this, many of his customers struggled to find his location. Today, he reached out with so much gratitude! He shared that his business has grown significantly. Whenever customers ask for directions now, he simply shares his Maps link, and they navigate straight to his shop without any hassle.
Seeing the impact, I’ve now guided him on the next steps: setting up WhatsApp Business, creating a digital product catalogue, and integrating it so customers can easily view his items and order directly.
