The positive effects of lock down and quarantine life!

Hello Everyone,

A warm quarantine welcome to everyone on my latest post. Just as myself you also must be sitting in your homes on your bed or couches and enjoying the lockdown.

I know, many of you will be irritated with this lockdown and wish to go to your favorite places again with your friends and family but you are stuck with your mobile phones and PCs but in this horrible situation of Corona which is taking lots of lives, I would like to tell you some positive aspects of it as well.

Just as bad it is to be at home stuck with your family, it is just as good for your environment right now. Do you know what you’re watching right now in the above image?

It’s the Himalayan range of mountains which is now clearly visible from the city of Saharanpur, that too after 30 years. Can you believe it? To be very sure, the city of Saharanpur is more than 200 km from the mountain range of Himalayas, so it is now loud and clear that the pollution levels have dropped a lot.

Similar to this story is another story: In the first week of April, Jalandhar residents were surprised when they woke up to see Himachal Pradesh’s Dhauladhar mountain from their rooftops. And Jalandhar too is about 220 km from the Dhaladhar mountains.

All this is really because the skies are now clear, the PPM levels have gone down dramatically and the sky is free from any smoke, dust, and all the other particles which pollute our environment.

There are many more similar stories to the positive aspects of lockdown - like the Mumbai sea is now clear as no pollutants or industry waste has been added to it since 2 months, river Ganga in all the northern states is flowing as clear as it can get just due to the ban imposed on the industries which expose their waste in the rivers and sea.

You will find lots of bad news every day regarding corona and deaths, but this lockdown is the only time when you’ll find the streets, sky, water bodies, etc clean as never before.
