My name is Hriday Raktim Kakati and I stay at Mangaldai, a small town in Assam, India.
I would like to share with you guys the place which garnered me the most views. It’s a small resort near Manas National Tiger Reserve, where I had stayed the previous night before the visit to the Reserve. To my surprise there were only 4/5 reviews on that resort which was very less informative and on the other hand the resort deserved a better response from us.
So I added a photo and wrote a fair and unbaised review on Google maps, which I feel I did pretty well enough for that proprietor to rise in his business. It’s sheer satisfaction for me to help that guy and help the people who wanted to visit Manas National Tiger Reserve. In short, reviews on Google maps helped three of us viz. the owner of the resort, the people who would visit the resort after the review and me which is negligible (as I too got trapped in this vast Google programmed-to help others for those points), hahaha!
So, Local guides whenever you do something on Google maps, do it with your heart! I did it and very much enjoyed it.
