The Pike Place Market in Seattle, USA - Spoilt for Choices

The Pike Place Market in Seattle, USA is a landmark daily market with famed fish-throwing seafood vendors, vegetable & fruit stalls, and other shops.

When I visited here in the summer of 2023, I found that there were incredible number of things to do here.

That was in addition to shops for various items like records, shirts, spices, and gifts making the Pike Place Market a must go for anyone visiting Seattle in the US for business or vacation like me.

I would say it is a quintessential part of the Seattle experience.

The ideal approach would be taking a couple hours to walk around and explore the market area, especially the filthiest tourist place in the world and the seaside views, then come hungry and enjoy food everywhere.

The choice of food, bakeries, restaurants, and bars was incredible.

The market is a true paradise to try so many different things in one place.

They also have an interesting custom of the fish being tossed back and forth.

But that happens only early in the morning when the market opens.

Very interesting…

So I Googled and read that the market is of the original farmers… Does it mean that there are no mediators?

“…fish being tossed back and forth…”

What did you mean by this interesting custom?

Also, as our @Annaelisa mentioned, what are those names?

Your photos and collages are worth viewing…

Thanks for this interesting post.

Regards, dear @TusharSuradkar …
