The numbers talk!

Well, i still keep in my mind the first feeling when i received the email from Google map with the tittle: “Congratulation! Your photos have reached a new record on Google!”

I was a bit astonished at this email. I asked myself “What was i doing? Why Google map congratulate me”. Honestly, the first time posted the photos i had no idea about Local guide". Then i checked that email and i felt so amazing, i cant believe the photo i just posted a few days ago and there was 500 people seen it"

That was the photos i took in my first trip in my life and it was so mean to me, because the first trip was paid by myself, the first trip i travel by plane, the first trip with one of my best friend… So i took many pics at the famous destination. And i did not think that the photos i posted in google map was interested so much by travelers.

And that was my first motivation keep me contribute my photos, reviews after trips.

Now, after almost 2 years, my reviews received 12, 884 views, my photos received 116,129 views. For me, that is the incredible numbers!

At the present, i am in Level 6, for sure i will move on and i am proud of be a local guide in Viet Nam.
Thank to Google Map, i have a chance to share my fancy place, help people picture the place they will visit. Certainly, Local Guide is likely a community for everyone and i will always be an active member in our community.

Congratulations and for many more achievements!

I just wanted to let you know that I have relocated the post to Local Stories board should it be more suitable as well as having revoked the Vietnamese language tag since the post would be presented in English (for further remark, do feel free to check the post How do I find posts in my preferred language?)
