Hi, maybe this has already been solved here, if so I apologize, but I didn’t find the answer.
I would like to ask why when I’m logged into google maps, I see a certain number of photos I’ve added. Let’s say 1000 and when I’m logged out and open my profile I see in my overview less uploaded photos let’s say 800.
Is there a reason why these numbers don’t match?
Can I somehow find out which of my photos are not showing up and why?
@Janko85 the 200 “missing” photos were not accepted by Google’s SPAM protection.
To find out which are those hidden media, on the desktop you can open two browser sessions: one logged in and the other one anonymous (also called private), then scroll down both synchronously in you photo contributions.
Google never tells us exactly the reason why media or a review is refused.
Hi @MortenCopenhagen my numbers 1000 and 800 were just an example. I was just curious why there is a difference between those numbers. I also found that a photo of a meal I added to a review of a restaurant that was really great was marked with an exclamation point that violates the terms and conditions. But since it’s a 4 year old photo I consider it an AI error. I thought there was some way to see in bulk which photos are showing up and which are not.
@Janko85 : you wrote you added a picture of a dish when you published your review. I would suggest to add that picture not to your review but in the option “add a dish” when you go to “contributions” on your smartphone app. On the website this isn’t possible. Perhaps the picture of dish could be accepted in this way? Please, also add some captions and info when you add the picture to the “add dish” section. By doing so, you train ai-models.
