My name is Purity Ndemo and I’m a level 7 local guide from Nairobi Kenya.
I have been a local guide for two years now. It all started when I joined college as I developed a passion for traveling and exploring new places.

As a google local guide , I have been able to travel to so many places in Kenya and East Africa at large. Through this, I have been able to make friends from all the places I have visited and this has helped me review places .As a journalist, I have been able to travel to the remote areas in Kenya to collect news.Google maps has always played a huge role in this .Therefore I have been able to collect news from all around the country with ease . I have always loved and enjoyed traveling to new places. As a university student with just my pocket money, I was able to plan my trips and adventures through google maps. This has always helped me to travel on a budget. As a level 7 local guide, I have been able to add new places and roads up on google maps.This is why I am always reviewing and putting place up on google maps to help other students travel with ease and on a friendly budget.

Until today, I am always relying on google maps when ever I am travelling to a new place. This is why I make sure I review and put images up of places i have been to.I’m always reviewing the public transport and the best road/ route to use. maps to tell me the public transport to use. Therefore I will tell other people the time taken to travel and pocket friendly hotels to sleep in.This is pretty much how I have been able to travel around Kenya and East Africa at large.I love nature so much , therefore I am always looking forward to visiting a new national park in Kenya every month. With this,I have been able to review entry fees of national parks and update on google maps.

…Also I have been able to tell other people if its cash or cashless payment.
I know how it feels to be in a new place where you don’t know anything or anyone.Therefore, the most interesting thing I have done as a google local guide has been to review restaurants, food , hotels, national parks , public restrooms, banks, malls , recreation facilities , entertainment joints, night clubs, supermarkets and other stores. I love posting images and videos to show other people what to expect and by answering questions about places I have been.
As a local guide, I have been able to make new friends who are local guides from my area. I have also been able to turn some of my friends into local guides and they have been loving it every single day.
I love taking pictures of places and things and animals . I also believe in giving a place an honest review so that other people can know what to expect when they get to visit, and to encourage them to visit
I like to share reviews on google maps because I enjoy / love helping other thousands of people by sharing my knowledge and images of places I have been.Posting images and videos to show what to expect and answering questions about places I have been. This reduces the stress and anxiety of visiting a new place.

Lastly, I always feel so good and motivated to see thousands of people commenting and replying to my reviews…Shows me that I am making a difference and makes me what to go on and on.
