On one occasion I was driving to the Rivers State Information and Technology Center (TechCreek). The maps have routed me via the shortest distance to my destination. However, as I followed the maps blindly driving through Obasanjo Bypass, I saw myself on top of the fly over and the lady’s voice in the my maps uttered “Your destination is at your right”
I could imaging how visitors would feel. The maps was not wrong in itself but the individuals who sat down from the comfort of their office has no idea of the implication of the position of the marker. I discovered I had to discover the the correct route myself. Lucky for me, I knew I have to navigate round the building by following a next street to another major Flyover, (Rumuola) and back to TechCreek(my destination). Once I came back I took up the responsibility of correcting that blunder.
I feel very excited contributing to maps and helping people reach their respective destinations without much stress.
