The most interesting thing I've done as Local Guide: exploring Asunción

Asunción is a city in Paraguay, let’s say not too big and not too old. But I do have to say that it is a very happy city.

Before starting to describe the architecture of this city, I would like to tell that it is the city where I living and I start my tour here since there really are not many contributions from local guider here. I am almost sure that the term is now hardly known.

The following photos correspond to the historic center.

Here begins the country’s zero point: https://goo.gl/maps/oSHpLa9ct7Du1tvj8

Here point we have several buildings that tried to be copied from Europe, since in the 1800s there was a lot of influence from European people.

Many buildings in the country remain intact since they were built:

This particular building was a very popular pharmacy from the early 1900s, today it is still intact and abandoned.

Asunción is a city that is looking for explorers, which can increasingly have more contributions for google and us.
