Zero to hero:
Cafe campus is a popular restaurant among the restaurants in front of my university. When I was a student of 5th or 6th semester of my department one afternoon I went Cafe Campus restaurant for taking my launch. At that time they gave me a menu card to order foods. But the foods price were too high for a student to take launch. Then I offered them to give me a fried rice and a fried chicken which wasn’t listed in their menu. It was very cheap and priced only 75 TK that means 0.88 USD. Which was very reasonable. First time they were not interested to do that. But when I requested them they did that. It was very delicious and cheap. Then I captured a photo and uploaded it to Google map and gave a review. Then it spread like wild storm among the food lovers. It viewed more than five thousand time in Google map. So you can imagine the popularity of this food. This food item became very popular. After a while when I went to this restaurant with my friends again then the owner of the restaurant thanked me and gave me a complimentary treat. That was amazing when I saw happiness in his face. That was the most interesting thing I’ve done as local guide.
Doctor’s serial number:
My cousin called me suddenly at night. He told me his mom I mean my aunt was very ill. They called from village which was 95 km from my city. Their local doctor referred them to city hospital for better treatment. So my cousin requested me to arrange a well-known hospital’s number and contacted with them. But it was very tough for me to arrange the number at that time. Because it was late night. Then I got an idea. I searched in Google for hospital’s numbers in my city. Then I found a number but it was switched off. It was very awkward situation for me. Because my aunt was very sick. At that time I felt the important of Google local guide. But next morning I gave for the treatment of my aunt in Islami Bank Hospital. After completing all task in this hospital I captured doctor’s serial number’s photo and uploaded it in Google map. I think now it helped more than 2000 people to contract with their doctor from their home. It saved their time and released them form extra burden. That was amazing when I saw it was viewed more than two thousand that means more than 2000 people were benefited from it.
