The most interesting thing I've done as a Local Guide

I know that the most interesting thing is yet to come, but now I want to talk a little bit about what happened to me at the beginning of this month and it became a really exciting event.

This is the great and beautiful Cologne Cathedral:

I read about this temple in my school textbook. And for a long time I could not believe that I really saw him in front of me.

He is incredibly huge and amazing. And, of course, I went inside and took a lot of photos. But I had a desire to show something more than a photo of amazing stained-glass windows.

And I found out that you can climb to the very top of the tower. I did it! You need to overcome only 509 ancient stone steps on a spiral staircase, until you get to the platform, where there is another metal staircase that leads you to your goal.
It was incredible (sometimes a little hard, ha-ha  ) and a lot of fun.

It was a long climb, to be honest. And you will need a lot of strength to overcome all these steps. But what you can see at the very top is a beautiful city, the great Rhine and the endless sky.
I think the summer view from the tower is even better when there are green trees and a warm wind around.

This is a wonderful experience for me as a local expert to see the object not only from its outside and inside, but also to be so high. The most valuable thing for me is also the opportunity to touch the story. Because when you touch these ancient stones, you seem to plunge into the past.

It was an amazing adventure. I wanted as many people as possible to learn about this and be able to see with their eyes this landscape.

The truth is, the fun began when I needed to go back down, but that’s another story

 Do not miss your chance to see Cologne aerial view!

Hi @Kseny_G , since there’s still time for the application, I really suggest you to read carefully at this Guideline again of how to make a good application post, which the post must be 300 words minimum. Wish you luck!
