The most interesting thing I've done as a Local guide

My experience as a Local guide has been wonderful, it has paced a ways for people to learn about places through pictures and reviews I post through my exploration of places. As a Local guide I’ve been able to update the pictures of places, add new places to the map and create reviews that gives the reader a detailed idea of the place and the function it performs. To me the most interesting thing I’ve done as a Local guide is the impact I’ve been able to make on people’s lives and actions with the help of the program, I feel like an informant, an agent that brings much needed pictures and information needed by people to know about places and keep track of their location. I recently went to visit a friend in an area new to me and was able to keep track of my movement thanks to Google map, getting there i noticed the road was not named on Google map and also discovered a postal office in the area built in the 70s. I saw it as an opportunity and added it to the map also posting pictures of the market closeby, it makes me happy to know that somehow I’ve been able to help someone in need of postal services and affordable essential goods .

Hey @PEZZY ,

It seems to me that this is your application post for Connect Live 2020, so I will move it to the Local Stories section which is the right place for this type of posts. Here you can find everything you need to know about writing a publication for your Connect Live 2020 application. Don’t forget to review your final post and make sure you are not missing any of the points mentioned. If you are - feel free to edit your publication from the three dots and add them.

Since you are new I recommend you to check this topic for more information on how to navigate in the forum. Another helpful thread you can find here.
