THE MOST INTERESTING THING I'VE DONE AS A LOCAL GUIDE:

My first place.

In 2018, I wrote out my travel project. This week, I completed my first road trip, though it was cut short by the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Visiting places I have never been before on my own is not an idea the people around me supported due to underlying security issues in Nigeria.
Prior to my travel date I had gotten the notification to apply and I checked Jos on the map, only to find out that information was limited. I cross checked my project list and decided to visit new places. I travelled farther, descended mountains to climb back up to a “no drinking water” situation so I could find Kurra falls for everyone of us. Till date it’s still the most adventurous thing I’ve ever dared to do, even for myself.

Though the director mentioned that they have lots of visits. There’s been no picture to the place or exact address. I visited this place because it’s somewhere people have mentioned and I wanted to provide answers for others visiting after me. Now I know their trip will be much easier.
