The Most Interesting thing I've done as a Local Guide

As a local Google guide, I have been so enthusiastic in discovering new places, visiting shop centres, and public sites using the Google map. But what stunned and gave me much fun was that some times last year I was coming from college one evening, as usual, I will be on the map looking for places along the street at the reach of my eyes. Halfway my journey, I discovered a pharmacy named EASTWOOD PHARMACY on the map, but I couldn’t locate it on the site. I considered that.

On the cab the next day, with my eyes wide open, paying close attention as I passed by, I still couldn’t find the place in the real world. As the driver drove some hundreds of metres away, I changed my mind, and I decided to stop him. I stepped out the vehicle, and I checked the map again on my phone. The place was located and been named on the map to be a pharmacy.

I positioned myself observing the four cardinal points. I asked the map for a direction to the place, and I plugged my earphone to hear the google map directions as it speaks. I was directed to the place as it was a few meters away. I reached the place on the map, and I was told that I had arrived at my destination.
With much doubt as I stood, I looked around, but I couldn’t find any medical store.

I moved some few kilometres away, and I set the map for another direction to this place for the second time. I was again directed to the same location I was standing some few minutes back. I couldn’t locate any pharmacy. I asked a couple of people in the place, but nobody seems to have any idea about its existence. Now this time, I was convinced that either this place was moved long ago or it was mistakenly added by another local guide. I did a review saying, “this place does not exist.” I tried removing the place, but I couldn’t. I went home that day feeling satisfied.
As I have been reviewing please in total, I have been receiving emails and notifications congregating me about the people I am helping on the local guide.
