Travelling, eating and going to places has been my hobby, and joining local guide makes me use my hobby to help improve the maps. I relocated to new town last year (2019) and I was just a month into the program. This new town barely have places on the map. I started adding places, adding pictures, dropping my pins and making the town accessible. The most interesting part is influencing the people of the community to start using the map and contribute to the map also.
It has been an awesome experience ever since.
