I went to Kazan for work on 2019, to do video news reports about 45th World Skills Competition. But the experience there was totally out of my expectation.
As a Taiwanese, I never got a chance to go to Russia and experience the local culture, landscape, historic site and traditional food. But luckily, I met few local girls during work, they took me to the restaurant "Dom Chaya"which is popular there. I took their advice and ordered very delicious traditional food: Olesh, meaty and chak-ckack.
They tasted a little bit like Taiwanese food but not exactly the same. And I realize that, Russian and Taiwanses food share similar flavors.
I was surprised. so I decided to share it as a local guide.
Besides, those gorgeous Kazan girls also recommended me to go sightseeing by myself. So after work, I went to the “Historic and Architectural Complex of the Kazan Kremlin”. Because of totally different religion let to different architectural style, the Kazan Kremlin really impressed me a lot.
But sadly, I only have one day off to experience all of these. I hope people around the world can experience what I saw and what I ate by my post on Google map. And that’s the most interesting thing I’ve done as a Local Guide so far. ?
