Being one of Malaysian who doing Local Guide my beloved country is kind of blessing. Why because not everyone in Malaysia are aware of this kind of things.
There are lots of places in Malaysia that is need to be paid of attention to especially in rural area. There are shops, school, library, mall and recreational parks that is lack of its information and pictures for being review thus less people are paying attention to them.
The most interesting thing I’ve done as a Local Guide are during my first bikepacking around peninsular of Malaysia. It is a 51-day trip and I’ve been cycling at the coast of every states in Malaysia Peninsula. And most of the places that I’ve been, I took picture and I update in on my Local Guide Account. And it helps people to know more about Malaysia.
For example. On day two of my journey, I went to Lata Tembakah which is located on rural area at Jertih Terengganu. I took pictures and update it on my account and somehow the pictures has been viewed 100+. Even though the number of views is not big but is somehow make me feel blessed and give me some spirit to do it frequently in future.
