The most interesting thing I have done as a local guide is exploring my town of Southington.
I moved here with my family around 5 years ago when we bought a home here to settle down but we are not originally from this state. So for me, roads and streets here are still something I am getting familiar with. 
Initially, what started as posting a picture of the store hours of a new restaurant opening in town, which suddenly had 5000 views in no time made me realize that I can add value to people… people like me who rely on Maps for updated info. That made me see how simple things we do can improve our life and those of others around us, every single day.
This older update from Google Maps changed my perspective on things and their compounding effect in life. It was also very exciting and made me strive for doing better.
It is also exciting to see my uploaded photos as featured photos for a store or a restaurant… especially when there were more than 5 different ones as featured photos at the same time!
