The most interesting thing I've done as a Local Guide: Exploring Manas National park

This Manas National Park is situated on the Indo-Bhutan Border just below the foothills of Bhutan. A portion of the park falls in Bhutan and that part is known as Royal Manas National park.

This park houses the rare Pygmy hog, Golden Langues, Elephants, Buffaloes,Deer and Tigers.

The park is open for tourists from November to April. Inorder to visit this park, One has to book an Elephant ride or a Jeep safari as walking inside the park is not allowed.

The Manas River flows through the park. The view of the blue crystal clear water of the river is amazing.

There are a number of Resorts near the park where one can make an overnight Stay.
