Aside connecting people and places, I also perceive the local guide programme as a unique tool to help businesses grow and meet their targets.
Finding myself in the insurance industry in a jurisdiction where insurance penetration is relatively low, I believe it behooves on me and all other stakeholders in the industry to seize every opportunity to assist in addressing this challenge.
Just like I have previously done (and continue doing) by reviewing and rating insurance-related issues, answering questions, as well as directing people to the right stakeholders to address their numerous challenges, I have seized the opportunity to also create a Public List for Credible Insurers in Ghana who are also members of the Ghana Insurers Association.
It is rather unfortunate that I got to know about this interesting feature just recently when I received an e-mail to apply for the Live Connect Programme. However as the saying goes, it is better late than never. This interesting initiative (creating a public List for Credible Ghanaian Insurers) means a lot to me as it will give valuable information to clients and potential clients of Ghanaian Insurance Companies to take the right decision when taking insurance and would consequently contribute in increasing insurance penetration in Ghana, to the rate, desired by all stakeholders.
