Hi guys, my name is Kingsley a level 6 local guide living in Lagos, Nigeria and becoming an adventurer is certainly the most interesting thing I’ve done as a local guide.
After moving to Lagos city about two years ago, I became a local guide and usually frequented the local guides Community where I met amazing guides with wonderful stories of their communities and where they’ve travelled to around the world. These stories and pictures inspired me to do something different that will make my contributions as a local guide more interesting for me. Then I became an adventurer in 2019!
With the help of the community and friends, I made a list of 11 places I have never been to visit for the rest of 2019. I created a travel blog which I share with friends, documenting these trips and also adding reviews, ratings and photos of these places on Google maps.
During my trips, I made friends and encouraged them to become a local guide like me, which some did.
Asides becoming an adventurer, I got better at my photography and creative writing skills with help from the local guides Community. I’m most grateful to the local guides Community for leading me to discover something new and exciting I could do as a local guide.
This 2020, I’ve made a list of new places to visit in and out of Lagos city and I look forward to cover more places, contribute more and improve my Community as a local guide.
