well, one of the most interesting thing I’ve done as a local guide, is taking my favorite picture of one-time the tallest skyscraper in africa “the cocoa house”, and i was moving on a motorcycle, then i managed to take out my phone and take the picture. the building is a 105 meters height; 26 floors, and was built in 1965 by the western region government of nigeria led by chief obafemi awolowo, located in ibadan, oyo state nigeria. ibadan happens to be the largest city in africa then.
the local guide program means a lot to me because, i just find myself helping people locate places in different cities in nigeria, and it gives me great joy, seeing myself as a t00l to helping humanity.
