Apart from energizing me to explore the world around me in great detail, and connecting me with friends all over the world, the most interesting thing I’ve done as a Local Guide is add places to Google Maps. By adding these places, I’m able to help business owners and their potential customers. Here’s a look at some of the places I’ve added and my personal impact:
[Hotel Radha Krishna](http://Hotel Radha KrishnaUdaipur-Chittorgarh Rd, Bagund, Rajasthan 312027094143 07124https://maps.app.goo.gl/fcbyKGQPiBxmb9C66) :-When I completed my senior secondary school and went to my village to spend the summer holidays, some of my village friends said that there is not a hotel open nearby, anyway, we have met after a long time, why not have a party . These are the early days when I became a new local guide. When we reached there and saw the menu, we could not understand what the manga was, then we asked the waiter who brought it here. He brought a dish called Paneer Angara, smoke was coming out of his plate like a fire. When brought closer, it was found that the plate would be placed on a hot iron plate and a dish of foil paper over it. It was an interesting and new thing for all of us. It was very wonderful and tasty. And now this is the best restaurant in this area.

[Ashirwad Dining Hall](http://Ashirwad Dining Hall Station Rd, Pratap Nagar, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan 312001 097831 31304 https://maps.app.goo.gl/pngacU2EoCfeEi6bA) :- A friend of mine who lives in Chittorgarh. He kept his birthday party in this restaurant. The special thing of this restaurant is that the Thali system runs here, it means that you have to pay for the plate and you are fed with the same money and the best thing is to get a chance to test every dish here. After talking to the manager of this restaurant, it was found that this restaurant was started for the workers. Those who come from outside here do their wages. I was very happy to map this work of his.

[MOHAMMAD SHER KHAN PALACE](http://MOHAMMAD SHER KHAN PALACE Sawa Rd, Chauthpura, Rajasthan 312001 https://maps.app.goo.gl/Ft8JNza6EdEnALpR6) :- The name of this palace is Tamanna Mahal. The story behind its construction is similar to that of the Taj Mahal. Mohammad Sher Khan, the richest man in my village, built this palace in love with his wife named Tamanna Khan. Despite it being a private palace, it is also one of the most popular. The biggest thing is that since it has been mapped it has become even more famous.

Adding new places to Google Maps is a dynamic way to make an impact. Through this small action, I’m able to help a customer in need find what they’re looking for; help a small business grow; or make a new friend. I’m grateful for a map that serves people worldwide while also being maintained with constantly updated data by those same people. Adding places—and the impact those places have had—is the most interesting thing I’ve done as a Local Guide!
